Becky Emerson

Becky completed her massage training at the International Professional School of Bodywork (IPSB) in San Diego in 2008. She moved to Santa Cruz in 2016 and is excited to have found her massage home at Luma Yoga because of her focus on massage through all of life’s stages – from pre-natal through our senior years. As a lover of yoga and meditation, she brings a nurturing and peaceful presence to the massage experience. She gives a profoundly relaxing massage combining Swedish techniques with deep tissue focus as needed. She says, “I believe that deep massage does not have to be painful if it is precise, and reaching the edge of “delicious discomfort” is the goal for optimum healing and relaxation.” Becky also is trained in manual lymphatic drainage which she can incorporate into your session if you have any swelling from pregnancy or surgery.

Nadine Lollino

Certified Massage Therapist + Yoga Teacher

Working in yoga, massage and dance has been a great gift, a way for me to connect with others and to encourage health and happiness. As a performer I hope that the connection made with my audience is one that calms, opens and inspires. As a dance facilitator, in moving meditations, I hope to create safe space for others to let go and be expressive. Therapeutic massage is a hands-on tool to facilitate change, positive touch enhancing our physical manifestation. Yoga gives us the daily tools for awareness and transformation.

I have been a massage therapist and yoga instructor in Chicago since 2002 and have just relocated to Santa Cruz for a next adventure in art and life. I combine tools from various massage studies as well as other healing modalities to create a therapeutic plan with clients. My studies focus on neuromuscular therapy, myofascial therapy, lymphatic drainage, energy balancing through studies in Reiki, Prana Yoga and dance therapy, pre-natal, visceral organ manipulation and cupping/moxa/guasha. I also bring my body awareness tools from dance, Pilates and yoga into my massage sessions. My yoga practice is influenced by Astanga and Iyengar yoga studies, Yoga Nidra and Vipassana Meditation. And maybe even more important than anything, I encourage joy and relaxation to promote health and healing.
