Kaysi is an aromatherapist and essential oils educator. With a background in commercial organic agriculture, she managed two small farms with gourmet salad operations. Edible flowers and the healing aroma of rich humus literally inspired her intrigue with natural healing. To her, essential oils are a beautifully complex alchemical synergy of botany, chemistry, and medicine. She believes using essential oils therapeutically is an integral part of changing paradigms in modern medicine, wherein people must empower themselves when it comes to their own physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. As a mother, she is poignantly aware that she is leading by example, and thus, seeks to thrive more and survive less. She regularly teaches in schools, consults one-on-one with clients, and is the blender and creator of Luma's custom blends. She is the co-author of E-book, Smell Good, Feel Better.

Birthing my two children in 1998 and 2004 taught me so much about what families need and want as children are born and grow. My journey of birth and postpartum doula work started in 2007 and I've been serving birthing and brand new families ever since. I've emerged from many respected doula, midwifery, and holistic care trainings/certifications with the skills and positive mindset to offer clients a full circle of prenatal, birth, and postpartum support. I have learned an incredible amount about family, life, courage, strength, love, and fear; and I take these lessons very seriously. I'm happy to lend all the wisdom I've learned as a doula and as a mother to fully support your wishes and intentions as your family is born and grows. I am honored to be a part of the Luma Doula Team, offering prenatal, birth, and postpartum support.
